I didn’t realise just how beneficial therapy could be until I met Tracy. I wasn’t against therapy, I just didn’t think I needed it until I found myself in a position where my world seemed to be falling in; I couldn’t have found a better person to help me find my way back.
With Tracy’s help I got a better understanding of myself and my reactions to other people, and I was able to consider different perspectives that helped me see that things are not always as I thought they were. She also helped me to tease out issues that I didn’t even know were affecting me and has left me feeling I can now deal with whatever comes my way.
She is incredibly knowledgeable, was unphased by whatever I told her and provided a safe place so I felt I could trust her to let myself be honest about my feelings. If you are thinking about trying therapy and are feeling a bit overwhelmed by all the available therapists out there, I can’t recommend Tracy enough. She’s genuine, calm, empathetic, funny and, for want of a better description, a normal person (I’m sure she’ll laugh at that!). In short, I felt I was talking to a trusted friend rather than the professional therapist she is.
